Palm Tree Kitchen Decor

Cooking in the tropics -  palm tree decor for the kitchen 

You may find that the kitchen  only lends itself to a few strategically placed palm tree decor items. Much of what you can do will be restricted by the size and layout of your kitchen. After all it is rather difficult to move kitchen cupboards in order to hang up a spectacular piece of art. 

In our home we have accomplished a tropical look with a kitchen tablecloth which has a palm tree motif,  a lovely little wooden clock with a painted palm tree and toucan on it and a small painting of a palm tree with a bicycle propped against it painted by my spouse. Just these three items give the kitchen a muted tropical look.

If you are fortunate to  have a large kitchen, then once again you can tap into a number of great kitchen decor items. The palm tree motif can be found on plates, storage canisters, cookie jars, mugs, glasses etc.
